Account and profile
Update your name and email with Finn — no need to leave the app.
Overview
Finn lets you change basic profile and account details through conversation. When you move, change your name, or want to use a different email, you can tell Finn and they will update it for you.
What you can update
- Name: The name Finn uses for you in conversation and that may appear in your profile
- Email: The email associated with your account (e.g. for billing, account recovery, or notifications)
Updating your name
Tell Finn what name you would like to use:
- "Change my name to Alex"
- "Update my name to Jordan Smith"
- "Call me Sam"
Finn will confirm and use that name going forward.
Updating your email
Tell Finn your new email:
- "Update my email to newemail@example.com"
- "Change my account email to mywork@company.com"
Finn will confirm the update. Use a valid email you have access to; it may be used for account-related messages or sign-in.
